I did 300 pushups yesterday. I had to stay up late to do them, and I ended up finishing them 5 at a time, but they got finished.
My next goal is to do 2000 jumping jacks. I don't even know if that will be hard or not. I have never had much respect for jumping jacks because I don't see their point. Rhythmic hopping and flailing don't really build muscle and it doesn't seem like a really effective cardio exercise but maybe I will feel differently tomorrow.
That is another thing, I will do them tomorrow. We have guests coming over tonight and I don't want to hop around all evening. I'll do it as my celebration for finishing my last day of work tomorrow. I will eat a carton of donut holes (they are on a super sale at the grocery store down the street) and then do 2000 jumping jacks.

Ugh, I hope you don't get a tummy ache!
One time my daughter, Julia, got a stress fracture in her foot because she was committed to jumping rope. She was in 8th grade at the time. She was trying to break the (middle) school record for how many jumps within a certain amount of time. She broke the record, along with her foot.
PS - I meant to tell you that I enjoy the different photos and subtitles with your blog posts. Entertaining and/or thought-provoking.
Chris, I had missed the blogs for a while and was glad to see the accomplishments just go on and on. No wonder Anna is so impressed :-) If you have not read/listened to Pressfield's books check them out - literally. They will help with camp and are fun. We can't wait to see you, I have 300 logs for you to split....
much love dad kohler
Thanks for letting us stay at your place! I wish I could have seen you do the jumping jacks. I loved the chocolate-glazed donuts from Hy-Vee. We went there on the way out of town but all the choco glazed were gone. We had to get normal chocolate. Still good. I wish we could have stayed another night, but we couldn't because we heard that Chris was going to do 2000 jumping jacks after drinking a gallon of milk or something.
One time I did jumping jacks for 2 minutes and i thought i was going to throw up. Good luck.
